- The League of Nations was founded in 1919 as a result of the Paris Peace Conference that ended the First World War. It was the first permanent international organization whose principal mission was to maintain world peace;

- the Third International (1919–1943), an international communist organization initiated in Moscow,  was founded to fight by all available means, including armed force, for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie.

c)    Opposition (1926 – 1927) – Jupiter in Aquarius opposes Neptune in Leo

-    Germany joined the League in 1926, becoming the fifth permanent member of the Council. The country condemned by the treaty which is at the base of the League of Nations, becomes part of it.
