- Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin`s death of  1953 represented a new period for the evolution of communism which developed using the causes of nationalism and decolonisation in his favour.

b)    First square (1962 – 1963) – Saturn in Aquarius square Neptune in Scorpio

- Cuban Missile Crisis (1962), the Cold War came closest to turning into a nuclear conflict

c)    Opposition (1970 – 1973) – Saturn in Taurus (Gemini) opposes Neptune in Scorpio (Sagittarius)

- Fourth Arab–Israeli War (Yom Kippur War), was fought from October 6 to 25, 1973, between Israel and a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria;

- The 1973 Soviet economic reform, initiated after a period of stagnation

- in many European countries the first Marxist political parties were created: “Emancipation of Labour group” was created in Russia by Georgi Plekhanov and others in 1883; French Workers’ Party was created in France by Jules Guesde and Paul Lafargue in 1880;  the Social Democratic Federation was established as Britain’s first organised socialist political party by H. M. Hyndman in 1881;

- most of the countries had their socialist parties formed and also labour unions;

- are elaborated laws that protect workers or established the work condition, the women and children protection, the social assurances;

- Marxist political parties were created in Europe
