Michael Schumacher accident
Michael Schumacher suffered a head accident while skiing on the slopes of the French Alps in Méribel, at 29 December 2013, 11:07 local time (10:07 GMT). He was in a medical induced coma after the accident.
As you will see, the astrological context was and still is very difficult for him, as he was “caught” by the grand cross made by Pluto, Uranus, Mars, Sun, Jupiter and Mercury on the sky.

Below is the chart for the accident, with his chart (inner chart) raised for 3 January 1969 at 13:43, Hürth, Germany, and the transits (exterior chart) for 29 December 2013 at 11:07 AM in Méribel, France.
The astrological aspects relevant for this accident are:
1. The grand cross transit
He was born on a Full Moon with Sun at 12,58 degrees in Capricorn and the Moon at 10,21 degrees in Cancer.
Pluto was at 11,09 degrees in Capricorn, conjunct his Sun and in opposition with the natal Moon.
Uranus was 08,38 degrees in Aries in square with Pluto, Sun and Moon.
Mars was at 10,29 degrees in Aries also in square with the natal Sun and Moon, and in opposition with Uranus and square Pluto in transit.
All this bad combination is completed by Jupiter in Cancer and Mercury in Capricorn to form a heavy influence and very difficult to context that resulted in such a bad accident.
Anyway, the main influence here is that of the Uranus-Pluto square, an aspect which reaches a climax in the period December 2013 – July 2014, as I wrote in the article about the Uranus Pluto cycle. I consider that accident as an example off this astrological cycle on people, it is his typical influence.
2. Neptune influence – lack of acuity
One of the causes of the accident was also the lack off attention, as Michael Schumacher hit a rock which he had not seen when he wanted to do a curve.
In astrology, Neptune is the planet that make people careless or give them a “state of dreaming” when they are not very vigilant and they may be distracted, fooled etc. The beauty of the scene from Meribel can easily do that to anyone.
Neptune is highlighted in the accident chart in two very important positions:
– Neptune in transit (3,09 Pisces) is conjunct with the Ascendant (4,10 Pisces) of the chart. More that that it is in Pisces and creates a moment when lack of vigilance was very common.
– the transit Moon (25,30 Scorpio) is in conjunction with natal Neptune (27,51 Scorpio) and created a dreamy mood for Schumacher.
CONCLUSION
I think these are the two main group of aspects that let such an accident to happen.
The most difficult aspect was the square of Uranus and Pluto, part of the Uranus – Pluto cycle. The current cycle began in the period 1962-1969, and Michael Schumacher has that conjunction in his natal chart, which makes him much more responsive to the aspects of this cycle.
About the future, the transit of Pluto in Capricorn will last several years from now, but the transit of Pluto over the Sun tends to change people fundamentally, so I think the effects of this accident will be for life. Now, the effects may be that he won’t recover at all, won’t recover completly or that he will recover medically, but he will change his behaviour, personality in a fundamental way.
